In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “32 Flavors.”

I like dark chocolate and vanilla iced coffee but I barely have cravings all the time so I don’t go out of my way to get them when I have a day off, like today. Usually do I have them when my daughter is in town and we eat dark chocolate while we watch movies on Netflix or we get vanilla iced coffee from McDonalds. Today I am not working and my daughter is not home so I will have some other flavors.

I got a bread maker last November as I was inspired by a friend of mine who always brought me her fresh made rosemary bread. It was so good and tasted much better than the bread from any grocery. Ever since the first time I made the brioche to now the sweet dinner buns, I never bought any bread anymore. Today, I made a tray of sweet dinner buns. What I did was to put every ingredients into the bread maker for making dough and put them in the oven to bake for 15 minutes. Once they were ready, the full house smelt like butter heaven! The smell  of the fresh flour and butter; the soft textures; and the taste without any bit of preservatives you could never find from anywhere else.

I am also a tea lover. I made a pot of iced honey-lemon-mint tea for this hot spring afternoon. Mint smells spicy and has a function to regulate Liver Qi in Chinese medicine so it is also considered a natural mood regulator. Anyways, it did make me relax and soothe.

I have got enough flavors for today! Home made and organic flavors! I still like dark chocolate and vanilla iced coffee, not every day but once in awhile, when my daughter is in town!
